Itinerary

Day 1: Fes - Merzouga Desert

 

Travel South-east and visit the ‘lion city’ of Ifrane, monkey’s troops of Azrou and Cedar forests. Mid-day lunch at Midelt. Continue to travel south via the Atlas Mountains landscapes. Reach the gateway to the desert through the cities of Rissani and Erfoud. Camel trek or 4x4 to your desert camp – timing prior to sunset to enjoy the glorious view – exploring the dunes, dinner, camp fires, traditional local music, free time and overnight stay in your private desert tent.

Day 2: Merzouga - Skoura

Wake up for the desert Sunrise , Breakfast then camel ride back to the car, As you leave the glorious beauty of the desert behind, the journey takes you west towards the famous Todra Gorge in Tinghir City . The landscape begins to change as you move towards the open countryside, dades valley and gorge, Nomadic families in this region is evident and there is a chance to visit and observe the lives of these travellers. Continue crossing the city of rose El kalaat Megouna, The final destination of the day will be Skoura oasis for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Skoura - Marrakech

we will take a short walk in Skoura oases before we continue The well-known ‘Hollywood of the Desert’ Ourzazate gives you the insight of scene making of many famous films visiting sine a studio . Then the ancient Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is worthy of visit. Driving over the 2,260m Tizi n’ Tichka Pass, Arriving in Marrakech and drop off by in your accommodation by the early evening.
